Graham Lumley is the Growth Product Manager at BKV Energy, a retail electricity provider serving Texas’ deregulated market. Since joining BKV in May 2023, he has worked across the full residential customer journey: shopping, enrollment, the customer portal, and contract renewal.

He analyzes customer usage and billing data, helps develop BKV’s fixed-rate plan offerings, and led the creation of tools such as the Bill Scanner that help Texans understand what they’re paying for.

That work gives Graham a direct view into what drives Texas electricity bills: how usage changes with the seasons, how utility delivery charges from companies like Oncor and CenterPoint affect monthly costs, and how plan structures like bill credits and free nights can make a low advertised rate cost more than customers expect.

He has published more than 250 articles on these topics, drawing on data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, ERCOT, the Public Utility Commission of Texas, and BKV Energy’s internal customer data.

Before joining BKV Energy, Graham spent several years working at Texas marketing agencies, where his clients included companies in energy distribution and heating and air conditioning, two industries that shape how much Texans pay to power and cool their homes.

A Texas resident since 2013, he is passionate about helping Texans save money on energy with affordable, gimmick-free plans.

Graham earned a B.B.A in Marketing from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
