About
Sayed is the Vice President of Retail Power at BKV Energy, bringing over two decades of executive leadership experience within the retail energy sector. He has a proven track record of consistently delivering profitability, fostering deep customer relationships, and building highly engaged teams. Sayed’s expertise spans the entire retail energy value chain, including P&L management, strategic and financial planning, M&A, and product innovation.
At BKV Energy, Sayed is a key driver of the company’s customer-centric mission to provide transparency and simplicity to the Texas electricity market. Before joining the BKV team, he served as the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Tomorrow Energy, where he spent nearly eight years in various leadership roles. His extensive career also includes a 13-year tenure at Direct Energy, where he held senior roles in pricing, portfolio management, and commercial strategy across North America.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and enjoying Houston’s vibrant food scene.
Education
Sayed graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance.
