Oncor and CenterPoint delivery charges increased on June 1, 2026.
On April 17, 2026, the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) approved an adjustment to Oncor’s delivery rates that would go into effect on June 1, 2026.
On June 1, 2026, Oncor delivery charges increased from $4.23 per month and $0.056183 per kWh to $4.06 per month and $0.061196 per month.
This is the highest per kWh delivery charge in Oncor history.

Depending on your home’s electricity usage, the increase will result cost about 7.2% to 8.4% more per month.
At a usage of 500 kWh, the new Oncor delivery charges will cost about $34.66, while the previous rates would have cost around $32.32.
At 1,000 kWh, the new Oncor delivery charges will cost about $65.26, and the previous rates would have cost around $60.41.
With a consumption of 2,000 kWh, the new Oncor delivery charges will cost around $126.45, and the previous rates would have cost about $116.60.
On June 1, 2026, CenterPoint delivery charges increased from $4.90 per month and $0.049715 per kWh to $4.90 per month and $0.051461 per month.
