Hey Texas, we’ve got great news! Your electricity is about to get a little cheaper per kWh.
Every March 1 and September 1, utility companies update their monthly and per kWh charges, which are then approved by the Public Utility Commission of Texas.
In every utility region of Texas (except Lubbock where rates remained the same) the per kWh charges decreased in the most recent rate update from March 1, 2024.
