Do You Need to Cancel Your Current Plan Before Signing Up?

Pulling the plug on your old provider? You do not need to notify of them your cancellation before choosing a new plan with a different provider. If you are switching to a new electricity plan with BKV Energy, we will handle notifying your previous provider of the switch through ERCOT.
We will ensure that your switch happens smoothly with no interruption to your electricity services.
Before switching, check your Electricity Facts Label (EFL) to determine if you will need to pay your prior provider an early termination fee (ETF).
