Electricity plan gimmicks to watch out for in Tyler

Many Tyler electricity plans use gimmicks that ultimately increase costs. Free nights, bill credits, and wholesale rates may seem appealing but often lead to higher overall expenses. Plans with strict usage requirements or market-dependent pricing can be risky. A fixed-rate plan offers more stability and fewer surprises.

The sales agent was helpful, and I decided on BKV after quite a bit of outside research. I signed up and then found out that there was a $50 incentive code that I had not seen before creating my account. When I expressed my disappointment about missing out on a deal on a follow up survey, BKV called and asked me what the code was and gave me the $50 retroactively. That doesn’t happen everyday, and needless to say it left a very good impression.

No one likes to call and talk on the phone to any utilty company. Its worse than car shopping. However, I must say, I have had a very good experience getting set up and all of my questions thus far have been answered.
